25.01.2022 Our next event is in the end of January 2020. Only 4 weeks away!!! The new year brings us to a time of the year where we have had a break, slowed down a bit, cleared some space in our working memory and we are ready to make some changes and focus on those new year goals. Sheridan Austin Nutritionist, a consulting nutritionist, tailoring special needs to help women throughout pregnancy and postpartum. Sheridan also assists individuals with an array of personal health issues from autoimmune diseases, hormonal imbalances, weight issues, behavioural problems, and anxiety, just to name just a few! She is also a cert...ified Gut and Psychology Syndrome (GAPS) practitioner, who specialises in gut health, which we all know leads to better overall health! 10.01.2022 Over the weekend we ran our first event of 2020 and what a beautiful weekend it was. We had a great bunch of women who attended, they were open minded, ready to learn and try new things. They also took the opportunity to rest and relax and prepare for their year ahead. Thank you to Lawson Lodge for having us. Thank you to The Heartier for catering our beautiful welcome dinner, Thank you to Sheridan Austin who is just a ball of knowledge and inspiration, she explained the impo...rtance of eating 'real food' and showed us how easy it is to cook yummy, simple wholesome food ourselves. Another thank you to YogaSound who created the space for the guests to relax and let go of any worries in their yoga and sound healing classes. Thank you to the Kind of Mind Family and in particular Chef Jack, who cooked up incredible wholesome, delicious and not to mention stunning meals for everyone. I had a fantastic weekend with everyone and loved spoiling the guests. I can't wait to start planning Kind of Mind's next event. See more
06.01.2022 People always ask me, 'whats with the gluten free trend'. . I don't believe its a 'trend' as such. It has been proven when you eliminate wheat from your diet, it can help decrease the inflammation and abdominal symptoms in your body. There is increasing evidence around the impact of using Glyphosphate (Round Up) on our gastrointestinal issues. I find it super interesting. It is a big topic and there is much more to it, but as Alyse said, it is good food for thought.
