24.01.2022 IBRP KINGAROY SPEEDWAY will be hosting a speedway over Easter 2021. Racing will be Saturday the 3rd & Sunday the 4th of April. With a prize pool of over $12,000 for Production Sedans we will be hosting the first Production Sedan Easter Stampede. Contesting over the two nights we are sure to be in for some very exciting racing. Joint the Production Sedans over the two nights will be the Street Stocks. With extra prize money we will sure to be in for a great couple of nights ...racing from the street stocks. Saturday night only Junior Sedans will be joining the line up. Sunday the Modified Sedans will return for a one night only club show. 22.01.2022 Kings Royal 2021 Official Press Release Ian Boettcher Race Parts Kingaroy Speedway 2021 9th Annual Kings Royal is A GO!! We are still planning to run this event in its current format. We will be closely monitoring directives from the Queensland Government, Queensland Health, the Queensland Chief Medical Officer as well as all other Australian States & Territories concerning all regulations in place for the current COVID Pandemic.... As you all know all over Australia the situation concerning COVID is ever changing and the situation can change overnight. With this in mind if we have to cancel/postpone the KINGS ROYAL in its current format we have other options available. Any necessary changes will be made to adhere to the relevant COVID regulations & advice. We also have in place if this happens a 2 night race format for the same weekend if changes are needed. By all means we want to forge forward with our race meeting in January. All updates will be on our Kingaroy Speedway Facebook Page. We want to thank each and everyone of our supporters, sponsors, volunteers and of course our competitors for your continued support and understanding during this unprecedented times. Round 3 of the Junior Sedans Allstar Series along with the return of the Lightning Sprints for round 5 of the QLSRA Club Championship. 19.01.2022 OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE WEDNESDAY 31st MARCH 2021. It's with great regret and sadness that once again Ian Boettcher Race Parts Kingaroy Speedway has had to cancel this weekend’s EASTER STAMPEDE. The 3 Day Lockdown in the Greater Brisbane area along with positive cases in Toowoomba, Gladstone, Gold Coast, Bundaberg and Byron Bay has forced us to make this decision. We once again aren’t taking this decision lightly.... After consultation with Queensland Health this morning we have been advised that no one is to enter our venue from the Greater Brisbane Area & considering it is major thoroughfare & competitor base & with the uncertainty of the continuing lock down we have been left with no other choice but to make this decision. The VERY tough decision was based on the safety of our community and the wider speedway family. The South Burnett Speedway Club sincerely apologies for the inconvenience in this decision but at this time we cannot guarantee the safety of our competitors, spectators & officials. Making these decisions are very hard to make but with a tough season so far with numerous cancellations we are not only feeling it emotionally but financially. The financial loss this season has hit us hard so the support we receive in the future will be greatly appreciated. BUT there is some good news for the club ahead. We will be making an announcement about next season regarding the Production Sedan division & what is going to be a very exciting season ahead in 2021/2022.

The 2021/2022 season will mark the 10th year of our nation’s leading sedan race The Kings Royal & now our club is very pleased to be hosting the National Production Sedan Title over the Easter weekend - April 15, 16 & 17 2022. We will also be adding another big event to our calendar with Kingaro...y Speedway hosting the Production Sedan Easter Stampede the following weekend over the Anzac Weekend - April 23 & 24 2022. 04.01.2022 It is with great sadness that the South Burnett Speedway Club share the news of the passing of Mr Colin McBride, the club's very first president. Colin James Herbert McBride was well known for his solo bike racing. Col raced for The Max Askew Kingaroy Bike Team, he was a very talented rider. His interests were not only in bikes and racing, but he also assisted the GNAT Car Club with engines from his bike shop which was located in Haly Street, Kingaroy. On 14th September 196...8, Colin McBride, Jim Divett and Jim Hayne helped form the South Burnett Speedway Club. Col became the clubs first president. Col passed away on 13th March, 2021 aged 92 years. The South Burnett Speedway Club Executive Committee and Members pass on our sincerest sympathies to Col's family at this sad time.
