19.01.2022 Busy Day , 3 vehicles delivering all over the place today, for me ,I have the Beach run a little hard to take but someone has to do itfrom Evans Head and now just dropping off a couple of 45kg bottles at Suffolk Park.I never would of thought we’d be delivering near Byron, and here we are, maybe Byron very soon I really have to thank everyone that has been supporting and promoting Kings Hot Gas, without you, this local family business will not grow, so thank you. 16.01.2022 AN ACT OF BUSHFIRE KINDNESS AT RAVAGED RAPPVILLE LEADS TO GENEROUS ASSISTANCE TO SELFLESS ROTARIANS - by Halden Boyd A CASINO businessman who helped provide fre...e water to people affected by last year’s bushfires at Rappville says he was so overwhelmed by fundraising by a group of Ballina Rotarians that he would pay their generosity back with another act of kindness. Ashley Clark-Smith who owns Kings Hot Gas, Kings For Water, Global Tyre and Mechanical, Kings for Towing, Kings Connect which is the local taxi service in Casino, and a local hire car company, was delivering truckloads of water to Rappville just after the fires when he noticed the Rotarians in action. I finally realised Ballina On Richmond Rotary had their own thing going on out there, and raining a lot of money for fences and posts and things, and when I saw all of the other things they were also into I really liked what they were doing on a shoestring budget and so I decided to do something about it, Ashley said. We used to raise money when Our Kids foundation was going with Rebecca Battista and we used to tow this trailer to events, and now that is has been not getting much use I decided the Ballina Rotary people could use it so it has been refurbished for them to keep doing the great things they are doing for so many people in the community. With the old enclosed box trailer we had it all lined out and fitted with a BBQ, a water tank, wifi and it is run by solar, and decided to give it to the Ballina on Richmond River Rotarians so that they can continue their great work in giving to the community, especially in times of need, Ashley said. It is a roll up to an event trailer in the region in natural disasters like fires and floods and the Rotarians will be putting it to great use and I am certain of that. The President of Ballina on Richmond Rotary Chapter David Harmon said he and his team were thrilled with the gesture of the donation of the trailer valued at $10,000. We already have plans to take it out west to help communities still drought affected and also to assist fundraise for our fellow Rotarians in those communities. We are just so thrilled, David said.

20.10.2021 Behind every great business, there is always that silent achiever, the guy that wash’s the trucks,cars,repairs marks made by drivers( as seen in this photo, and... not me %) helps load and unloading when we get back in the yard, stays back or comes in early when he doesn’t have to, helps build and modify our trucks and cars, paints our truck body’s that lovely yellow and black .when I ask him I need something made or changed, he just does it , to this guy, NOTHING is an issue or an obstacle, he loves to be challenged and ALWAYS comes up with better ideas when I want something done, he just does it better, and is a thinker with some good old commonsense ,this guy is the one and only. Peter Adams. A qualified Builder by Trade, Peter came on board around 5 years ago and it was one of our best decisions, absolute legend of a guy that could talk the legs off a parrot with no legshis personality is infectious and everyone that meets Pete, loves him. I hope I haven’t embarrassed you Pete, you are our silent achiever and what you do does not go unrecognised ( and no, your not getting a pay increase, maybe a man cuddle,) If your one of our Kings Hot Gas customers, Pete is your guy that will call/txt you to arrange a day to have your gas bottle delivered and if your lucky, he may even deliver it as well, Pete is also our back up KHG Driver when he needs to be, he definitely is so universal and adoptable across all 5 Businesses, hard to find people like Pete , so glad we have him. Thank you again Pete, thank you for everything you do,and thank you for helping me get the truck ready tonight for a busy week

11.08.2021 Just dropped off 8 bottles to a new customer that we have in Byron Bay today , they had some renovations done and the gas set up was a part of it , a little different to the common house hold how these will work, there will be 2 banks, each bank will have 4 bottles running off them, once those 4 are empty, it will automatically switch to the remaining full bottles and when we are back in the area, we will switch out the empties and put 4 full ones back in
