22.01.2022 Dear patients, I fully understand you want your blood test done early so you can go home and eat or drop off the sample so u can head into Toowoomba. I am asking you though to understand I am here from 7.30am until 5 Monday to Friday and I am happy to do your pathology but could I ask you consider this when coming down at 7 and coming in when I arrive. I need to turn lights on and get Drs rooms ready before the clinic opens at 7.30am Thank you for understanding

21.01.2022 REMINDER - Darling Downs and West Moreton regions moderate risk of COVID-19 From monday 7th September, 2020 Please wear a mask into the clinic at all times. ... Moderate risk requires use of flat surgical masks in most clinical settings for staff, patients and visitors. Due to the current situation and the latest confirmed case in Laidley we want to keep all staff, patients and visitors safe. We would like to request you all wear a mask into the clinic and leave the mask on until consult with the doctor is completed and you have left the clinic. We appreciate your assistance with this and understanding. This risk rating will remain in place for a minimum of four weeks and will be extended until there is clear containment of community transmission.

18.01.2022 The front door is locked from today. When you arrive for appointment please call the clinic to advise or alternately we are happy to do a phone consult with you. If you would like to change your appointment to a phone consult please call the clinic on 45800700 and let reception know. Someone is available from 7.30am too take your calls. We apologise for the inconvenience but our doctors are not vaccinated at this point and we need to ensure their safety.

18.01.2022 Darling Downs Health will today open a new COVID-19 testing site at the Highfields Sport and Recreation Park. From 9am, motorists will be able to access the sit...e from Kuhls Road and into Cabarlah Park Road before proceeding one-way through the main park road to the three, drive-through, undercover testing sites at the car park closest to the Cronin road exit. People are being urged to bring their Medicare card and other items that might be needed (mobile phone, phone charger, medications, food and water). Testing sites at the Charlton BP Truckstop and Baillie Henderson Hospital will also remain open and operate between 8:30am to 4pm today. Via Darling Downs Health

Please make an appointment but wait in car and phone clinic on arrival, the Dr will then call you and triage if necessary. 07.01.2022 Mask requirements across Queensland are coming into effect from 5pm today (Monday 29 March). You must carry a face mask with you at all times when you leave h...ome, unless you have a lawful reason not to. You must wear a mask in indoor spaces, such as: shopping centres, supermarkets, retail outlets and indoor markets hospitals and aged care facilities hospitality venues such as restaurants and cafés (not required for patrons while seated; customer facing staff only) churches and places of worship libraries indoor recreational facilities and gyms (except if doing strenuous exercise) indoor workplaces (where safe to wear a mask and you can’t physically distance) public transport, taxis and rideshare, including waiting areas and queues for this transport airports and travelling on planes. It is strongly recommended you wear a mask outdoors if you are unable to stay more than 1.5m distance from other people, such as busy walkways and thoroughfares. Masks do not need to be worn in some circumstances, including children under 12 years, where people have certain medical conditions, and in workplaces where it is not safe to do so. 03.01.2022 From 8am Monday, restrictions on gatherings and aged care will extend to the Darling Downs region. Gatherings in people’s homes and outdoors will be limited to 10 people for residents in the Western Downs, South Burnett, Cherbourg, Toowoomba, Goondiwindi, and Southern Downs council areas. Visits to aged care, disability accommodation services and hospitals will also be limited to protect residents.... COVID safe venues and events, including cafes, restaurants, clubs, pubs, weddings and funerals, can continue operating as usual. Gatherings remain limited to 10 people in the Greater Brisbane, Ipswich and Gold Coast regions. Everywhere else, gatherings in people’s homes and outdoors are limited to 30 people.
