While conducting a skin check - dermoscopy is looking at skin lesions under a bright magnified polarised light .. these are some benign moles of different patterns . I hate phoning people to tell them they have a melanoma and need further surgery, fortunately they are often very early..not even been noticed by patients themselves..picked up using a dermoscope- a skin microscope..these can be treated by surgery alone. 07.01.2022 So NYE I had to tell 3 folks they had melanoma So grateful to my Doc / and colleagues who refer folks to me for their skin needs . These folks had no idea these lesions were an issue came to see me for routine check .. another lesion or saw GP for painful shoulder and referred .. Covid is scary but for some there are other real concerns I am really booked up but looking at ways of getting an emergency access for folks x
