22.01.2022 Not going to pretend this was easy... but totally worth it! Such an amazing outcome; this GIANT wall mural printed on 19 panels of ACM and fixed to the more than 5 metres high and about 13 metres long wall! It really gives a warm welcome to everyone who visits Inspiring Minds Child Care and Kindergarten. @ Inspiring Minds Child

18.01.2022 K is for Kingswood. And K is for ‘key’ CMYK. Well, it’s actually a grey area (lel): the origin of K might actually be different. Before it was CMYK, the abbreviation was RYBK (red, yellow, blue, black) back in 1725, when 4-colour process printing was invented by Jacob Christoph Le Blon. So maybe K was used blacK because B was already taken and so that in the future, no one would confuse blue and black. Did you know that in France the initialism is CMJN: cyan, magenta, jaune, noir? Oui oui

09.01.2022 If there was ever a family business in Logan that you can call iconic, it is Kingswood Print + Signage. Started over 30 years ago by Phil Moody and his brother-...in-law, Mark Keeffe; they have moved from traditional offset printing, expanding into digital printing, signage with a full finishing department. Chatting with Phil, his understated kind demeanour and great humour hide the battle scars of a very tough market, especially as the new on-line world of social media has now become the new norm. Phil has seen the very highs and the very lows that come with building a business in a highly competitive industry with many of his competitors falling by the wayside. Phil and wife Margaret raised their family in Springwood with their children attending John Paul College. He did his apprenticeship as a letterpress printer and is very passionate about old values. The companys catch phrase Where old-school craftsmanship meets new technology is never truer. While being shown around, I was mesmerised by the incredible technology and massive size of machinery. I was even more impressed by the smiles, humour and professionalism of the staff. No doubt Phils heart is still in working the presses but with his daughter Ruth now very much involved, you can see the pride of his lifes work and the successful future of this great family business. If you think what Phil has achieved is great, please show your support by leaving a positive comment below and sharing this post. Another great business born from Logan. All you need to do is supply us with a spreadsheet of the names or data and then we do the rest! Hows that for a cute personalised gift idea for Christmas? @ Surry Hills, New South Wales, Australia

02.01.2022 Red-y for a great weekend? Enjoy, go paint the town! .... Full disclosure: this is actually #magenta, not red, and #offsetprinting ink, not paint... but weekends arent the time for judgement #puns
