24.01.2022 Today is THE DAY! Northvale JFC u17s Div 1 Team is on a do or die mission.... After nearly 10 years this team with its origins going back to 2010 as u9's has a must win game against AJAX @ Boss James, Reserve in Hampton at 12.30... Elimination Semi Final! 3rd v 4th As a club we are very proud of them and we wish Souey, Louie and the entire team all the best for tomorrow, the opposition and weather will be tough on you but your courage and spirit will prevail so be strong and resilient! Go out and WIN!!! All the best boys!! Vales on 3

23.01.2022 On Sunday 26th August after starting as u9s in D5 way back in 2010 the Northvale u17s played their final game ever of junior footy in the Division 1 Preliminary Final at Boss James Reserve. Whilst competitive early they were eventually overpowered by a gritty Highett/ Cheltenham team. Souey and Louie were proud of their team right til the "final siren". There were 5 of the original boys still playing... a tremendous effort. We wish all the team and officials all the best for the future and hope that they loved their time at Northvale J.F.C. Thanks for EVERYTHING! Go Vales!!

22.01.2022 Northvale JFC... the last round is on us... feel free to drop by for a drink or three tonight at the clubrooms... it'll be just a small cosy gathering of club regulars... dinner and snacks supplied thru the evening and the fridge is fully stocked... see you soon!!!

19.01.2022 Our mighty little club with its last 2 teams is still alive and tomorrow both our u14s and u17s are playing Preliminary Finals for a spot in the GrandFinal... we are the underdogs in both so please try to get to both games to support our boys and keep the dream alive! To all our players... go out and show the fighting spirit and never say die attitude that got us this far.... to our officials, be proud of your team and your role in supporting our young men ...to play the game we all love! U14s @ 10.45am in Highett and u17s @ 3pm in Hampton.... Good Luck & Go Vales!!

15.01.2022 The fairytale for the Northvale Junior football club has gone all the way... after 48 years and hundreds of games since 1970 it will officially play its last game ever... fittingly in a GRAND FINAL... our Mighty u14s finished 2nd on the ladder and lost the semi final on a cold wet day Last Sunday they thrashed Ashwood JFC (57-18) ,a team that had beaten them twice in 2018 to secure a spot in the GF... with lots of confidence and no injuries we are a huge chance to send the c...lub off on a high. Just being there on the big day means so much to this team and its last 23 active players. 15.01.2022 Today was presentation day for our Northvale U17s Division 1 Team who played in arguably the toughest competition in Victoria making it through to the Prelim... we are so very proud of their achievment and resilience over the last 10 years of junior footy and today we paid tribute to this team of 29 players. From winning a flag back in 2012 as u11s and through the quirks of grading they progressed through all 5 divisions without winning a final in the last 6 years... until 2... weeks ago defeating AJAX. It is a credit to their core group of Sam, Sean,Jye, Johno & Tharial who since auskick days recruited and stuck by their club while other local teams folded... A huge thankyou to Souey, Louie and Jodie as well as the many volunteer parents and assistants that helped the team achieve that long term success. What lies ahead for these boys is in their hands but the whisper is that we haven't seen the last of that jumper or the team... stay tuned to this page! 15.01.2022 The PRESIDENTS FINAL MESSAGE On the last day of footy for the Northvale junior football club i learnt more about footy than over my whole journey... although we lost our Grand Final to wav park by 1 point in the last kick of the day I saw a new team of boys that celebrated their season and wiped the smiles off their opponents faces... they were no longer 2 teams and easily beaten as in the semi final and rounds 13 and 15... they fought and played for each other and then t...Continue reading

12.01.2022 Hi All... it was a great final year at Northvale JFC and 2018 is nearly over... lets finish off with our annual Christmas Party @ Jells Park on Sunday 16th December from 12-4pm.Thx to our generous committee, snags, burgers and snacks will be provided as well as soft drink and whatever beer/wine was left over from our last functions... all u14s and u17s players and families are invited for a casual get together where the kids can also catch up.. 12.01.2022 Hi all... Our Club farewell is on this Saturday 22nd September and is going to be a great way to all get together in a relaxed social clubrooms setting for the last time ever... In addition we have the annual Dads V U17s game at 3pm with the dads team being strengthened by the addition of some u14s players... a BBQ dinner amongst other food to follow and then we start the party.... footy on TV and your usual Northvale night!!

The dads & u14s V u17s match will start at 1.30pm due to us watching the Melb V West Coast game in the clubrooms after as well as a BBQ lunch... the saturday afternoon will continue on into the night as we farewell our clubrooms before stripping them out on Sunday. Plenty of food supplied for dinner and drinks for members.... see you there!!

02.01.2022 Congratulations to 2018 Brownlow Medallist Tom Mitchell... son of Northvale &Sydney Legend Barry Mitchell who won 4 Best & Fairest's at the Vales 76' 77' 78' and 80' where he learnt his midfield skills taking them through the AFL and no doubt passing them onto his son and protege...

01.01.2022 In just over 24 hours we play the last game ever as a club but for now we have the grand final breakfast at Wellington Reserve! Players and Parents will enjoy a bacon n egg breakfast with coffee and a discussion about what to expect tomorrow from start to finish! Go Vales!!! Go Vales... today lets celebrate getting to the big dance and enjoying that September feeling!
