13.01.2022 PATIENT ALERT: As you are aware, the response to the COVID19 situation is changing at a frequent pace. I'd like to say it is 'business as normal' however the reality is different.... We are currently open, and we expect to remain open unless directed by the government to close. We will also suspend operations if required for exposure to the virus. LOOKING AFTER YOUR (AND OUR) WELFARE We have many protocols to aid in the minimisation of risk associated with transmission COVID19. * Evan will be maintaining hand-hygiene between each patient. * Equipment used in treatment rooms is sanitised as appropriate. * We ask that you allow Evan to open/close the door to the treatment rooms. * Commonly used items in the waiting area are being sanitised on a regular basis. * We encourage you to use hand sanitiser if you have it before entering the room, alternatively to wash your hands in the sink. * We have removed all reading material and toys from the waiting area. * We ask only the person being treated to enter the treatment room. * We have spaced our seats in the waiting room for 'social distancing'. If all seats are full (unlikely), we will ask you to wait outside. You may at times see Evan wearing protective gloves, masks and eyewear. We may ask particular patients to do the same. This is not to cause alarm, we are just being overly protective. PLEASE ADVISE STAFF IF YOU: * Have travelled internationally in the last 14 days. * Have travelled interstate in the last 14 days. * Have had suspected contact with someone who has COVID19 * Have ANY flu-like symptoms including, fever, cough, sore throat and/or a runny nose. In the instance of international travel, and suspected/confirmed contact with someone who has COVID19 - we will require you to reschedule your appointment to a later date. In the instance of flu-like symptoms and interstate travel - we may require you to reschedule your appointment, or adopt additional hygiene protocols.
