11.01.2022 No playgroup this week. It did not suit most of our families to attend, so we are having a week off. We look forward to seeing you next week.

11.01.2022 Today, Kioma State School thanks the teaching staff for the wonderful job they do every day, inspiring minds and creating opportunities for brighter futures. We also acknowledge what a challenging year it has been and the many ways teachers everywhere have adapted curriculum delivery to support students through these challenges. At Kioma we are especially grateful for everything Miss Mengel does and the long distance she travels to be at our little school. Thank you and Happy World Teachers Day 2020.

07.01.2022 This morning we had our book week dress up parade. Everyone looked fantastic in their costumes.

04.01.2022 We are extremely proud of our students who received Macintyre Young Writers awards. Congratulations to our very talented young writers.

03.01.2022 The Kioma end of year presentation and Christmas break up is on Tuesday the 8th of December. We invite our community to join with us to celebrate another fantastic year of learning at Kioma State School. A Covid Safe plan is in place which requires attendees to RSVP. Details are on the attached invitation. Please share around our community. We look forward to seeing you.

02.01.2022 Congratulations to all our students for their outstanding effort, sportsmanship and participation in Friday’s swimming carnival. It was a wonderful day and we are very proud of everyone’s efforts. Kioma was the winner of the aggregate trophy for the day and 4 of our students were awarded age champion. Thank you to the families who attended and supported our school and to all the staff for your hard work on the day.
