19.01.2022 Hi Everyone, As you realise the weather is working against us at present. Many are unable to get through to Brisbane because of road closures and Collingwood Street is suppose to flood on Tuesday and Wednesday. Not as bad as 2011 but still enough that the road will be closed and people not allowed up it. Therefore I have decided on the following: ORIENTATION: Tuesday 29th January CANCELLED... Wednesday 30th January CANCELLED Thursday 31st January DAY 1 - Start 9.00am Friday 1st February DAY 2 - STart 9.00am (Day was not originally programmed) Have emailed everyone but please share as maybe all are not members here. Sorry for the inconvenience, but totally unavoidable. Miss Eversen

15.01.2022 GOOD LUCK AND BEST WISHES to Anne Laurich who flies to Thailand on Sunday to start her first contract with Genesis Productions. It was sad to say "Good-Bye" to such a lovely student however it is wonderful to see her taking her next step into the dance industry as an employed dancer. Hopefully she will also be given the opportunity to use her lovely singing voice as well. Have a wonderful time Anne x

14.01.2022 Just saw that Jess Bailey who graduated in 2009 is also heading to Thailand today to join Genesis. Hope she also has a wonderful time and enjoys working there.

Also to Bill Pengelly, John Peek, Gareth Harris, Michael Edge, Danica Beckett, Ireni Utley, Summer Nelson, Royce Simms who can't wait to see our returning students to welcome our new intake. 06.01.2022 Wow what a night! The Australian Training Awards where ADPI was invited to open the entire event at the Brisbane Convention Centre. Well done the "Matrix" advanced jazz group. You were very special and many fabulous comments came to me during the course of the evening. People from interstate commented that they had never seen a Dance RTO with such an amazing standard. Thank you to all concerned.

06.01.2022 Congratulations to all ADPI students for a fantastic Graduation Performance tonight. Also it was so lovely to see so many past graduates in the audience especially Niki Whitaker who came out of hospital to be there. Many thanks to the fantastic Faculty for not only the producing the pieces for the performance but for those who worked in the Theatre today to make the performance special. Also to other past Graduates Michael Braun, Rikki Mason and Reuben Limmer and BDC students Kate Cunningham and Tamaki Matsuo-Hoobin for dancing with us. Well done everyone!!!

01.01.2022 With a short detour from rehearsal room to McDonalds at Albion, our intrepid group of enthusiastic afternoon school students presented a Flash mob dance to help with McHappy day raising money for children. Once the problem with the music was sorted, they surprised the patrons with their dancing and improvisation skills. Many thanks to Tash, Maddy, Kate, Beth, Tamaki, Montana, Sophie, Ellie, Elise, Maddie, Koko, Chloe, Angelica and Maddie R, you are such wonderful young people.

01.01.2022 Lovely time this afternoon catching up with Candy Ng a 2008 Graduate. Candy has been teaching in Hong Kong for the past 4 year and has gained her RAD CBTS and CSTD Grade 8 Jazz. Her students achieved first place in the CSTD Jazz Conpetition held in Hong Kong. Well done Candy and it was wonderful to see you again and thanks for your time. Safe travels back to Hong Kong on Friday x

01.01.2022 More great surprises this week - Teaching boy's repertoire - look up and Joshua Young is standing at the doorway looking absolutely stunning. Has had 2 contracts with Carnival Cruises, loves his job and looking forward to returning to sea in April. Saw some great photos of his work and amazed at his progression. Then went downstairs and ran into Matthew Douglas who has recently returned from Universal Studios in Santosa, Singapore. Matthew also was looking great and ready to rehearse with Anthony Lee who has set up his IDStudio's Agency in the ADPI complex.
