The support everyone has shown me this year has been so overwhelming and I feel very lucky to know so many amazing people who acknowledge hard work and a beautiful craft like HAIRDRESSING! Every year this comp rolls around some of you may have seen the haters who come out of the wood works! I don’t tend t...o worry about them too much because when have you ever seen a hater doing better than you? They’re like crickets so loud when you can’t see them yet so quiet when you walk past them. I think those who lose sight of their own goals are too busy worrying about what others are doing around them. If they spent that precious time & energy discussing new ideas rather than discussing other people, they would be much more productive! This year has been the most life changing so far, giving birth to my baby girl Kendal almost 6 weeks ago has proved to be one of THE most epic things I have ever done! I have so much more respect for women and especially mums! You ladies are superhuman It’s also brought me to realise the things I do for myself or business is no longer for me, it’s for her. Her life, her future, her existence. The night of my emergency C section I was up until midnight doing the payroll and wages. Things I’m looking forward to this year are watching Kendal hit her milestones Travelling Australia sharing my knowledge for Hairdressing & business education to other likeminded hairdressers! I’ll have dates soon for those who are interested keep an eye out! also growing the Trendz family because these girls are my life! A positive outlook attracts like minded people. 06.01.2022 My first official pram stroll on the weekend! it only took me 7weeks! Kendal and I visited my sister in law @vanessalongmuir and her baby cousin Easton! This whole baby journey has been so amazing to experience with her and to have someone to rely on for advice or just someone to call on when we are both feeling stressed! Vanessa and I realised we were pregnant on the same day and our due dates were only 3 days apart! She ended up giving birth on MY due date and after I vi...sited her that night, my waters broke 2 hrs after getting home!! Kendal and her cousin were born almost exactly 24 hours apart! 11:13am & 11:20am Kendal was 6 pound, Easton was 7 pound. We could not have planned it any closer if we tried!! 04.01.2022 What a difference! 2 Weeks Vs 2 Months old! Still lots of smiles! I’m definitely enjoying her becoming more interactive with us and her extra chubbiness. Newborns are great, but I feel as though she is less fragile now. There was 3 BIG learning curbs I am only just getting the hang of after two months of becoming a new mum. 1.
