08.01.2022 I have read posts and messages from a few people about the real purpose behind the #challengeaccepted posts. Please refer to this post from @miafreedman which explains much more clearly than I could the purpose of this movement. While I strongly believe in women supporting women and thought the notion of sharing this concept was a positive one, I would not want to dilute the message about the shocking plight of so many Turkish women as explained in this post.

03.01.2022 Do you know this amazing lighthouse?! How pretty it is! Built in 1858 following the wrecking of the Dunbar at the foot of South Head. It was apparently the 3rd lighthouse to be built in NSW. I had been noticing it from afar on my daily walks with Alfie and decided I needed to go an investigate. Well worth a visit.
