08.01.2022 HOME IMPROVEMENT SCHEME A new $30 million home improvement scheme will help stimulate the economy and keep Territorians in jobs. Its part of the Territory Governments Rescue and Recovery Package in response to COVID-19.... The scheme will help fast track around 5,000 screwdriver-ready projects in Territory homes. This means that projects are physical improvements to land and / or buildings, and repairs and maintenance services. The scheme operates on a voucher system, with home owners receiving either: A voucher worth up to $4,000 if they contribute at least $1,000 of their own money, or a voucher worth up to $6,000 if they contribute at least $2,000 of their own money. Homeowners and tradies are required to practice social distancing during the planning for and delivery of the renovation works. If either party is unwell, they will need to put the works on hold until either or both are well. Click on the link below for further information

06.01.2022 #MONDAYHACK This post is in no way related to anything kitchen at all - but I just had to pass on this #hacki I discovered on the weekend. The remote control for our TV stopped working - put new batteries in - still didnt work - so I thought because its a smart TV surely there would be an app of some sort - sure enough - download the app for that brand of TV and voila can now use the phone as a remote control - problem solved.... How COOL is that!!
