18.01.2022 KITELY KIANOOSH DESIGN - CIFF SHANGHAI 2016 The Australian Pavilion organised and managed by the Australian Furniture Association (AFE) was one of over 2000 exhibits at the China International Furniture Fair (CIFF) in SHANGHAI this September. The event attracted nearly 86,00 visitors. Kitely Kianoosh Design were invited to show work as part of the Australian Pavilion and presented the Charles Table at the event. Involvement in this major trade show provided a great opportun...ity to present work to buyers and industry representatives from all over the world. As expected representatives of Chinese and Asian based retail and manufacturing companies were in the majority. The Charles Table was very well received and attracted a great deal of attention particularly from Interior Designers and Architects who commented on its simple and beautiful concept and form The Chinese based manufacturing and retail sector were well represented and interested in the design concepts and approaches to product development we use and apply. We are now having further discussions with several contacts made during the event. On reflection, a very interesting and successful experience on many levels. Would we go again, definitely yes?
