19.01.2022 Bedrock, 2020 Acrylic on canvas 600 x 300 This represents the many layers of our lives and the land we are privileged to live on. From the hard bedrock which is the foundation for everything we are, through the different seams of earth and varying degrees of density (complexity) and minerals (riches), to the water which sustains us. Further up through the upper layers where seeds sprout into life and finally, the surface, showing the changes of life from sapling, to tree..., to fire, to scorched remnant.
