18.01.2022 If you are paying Income Protection from your cashflow, don't forget that you can claim the premiums on your tax for the financial year! This is an excellent deduction..use it!

18.01.2022 Under new rules 1 July 2017, if you make after tax (concessional) contributions to your super, you may be eligible to claim the amount back as a deduction on your 2017/2018 tax return. You will need to provide a 'notice of intent to claim' the deduction and this may apply to people who are partly self-employed and partly employed, or individuals who work for employers who don’t accommodate salary sacrificing. If it is you... look into it and don't miss your opportunity.

17.01.2022 Centrelink scam. Be aware of a phone call stating that you have not replied to a letter in regard to back payment of your benefit. The caller will provide you with a reference number & contact to call back. This is a scam. Centrelink will only contact you via mail & will NEVER call you unless you are expecting their call. Please share this with your family especially Age Pension recipients as they appear to be most susceptible.
