With the likelihood of social-distance res...trictions being in place for the rest of the year we have made the tough decision not to go ahead in 2020. We look forward to a BIGGER and BETTER expo in 2021! Thank you to our Sponsors, Stallholders, Suppliers and Supporters for your continued involvement with our expo. #colac #stmarysgardenexpo #shareembracegrow #stmaryscolac #stayhome #keepcolacsafe See more

10.01.2022 Alright people, as we all know these here are crazeeee times! For us in the nursery industry, vegetable seedlings are kinda like loo paper, but on a smaller scale, in demand, but hard to source. We are doing all that we can to keep up, but at this moment stocks are a little low! We really hope that by this time next week we will have a good supply back in stock. We are also doing whatever we can to ensure we can keep supply up over the next few months. We appreciate your patience and most importantly, be kind to your fellow humans.

02.01.2022 A very limited number of vegetable seedlings are about to be put out for sale, unfortunately less than last week. And yes I dont expect them to last long!

01.01.2022 Whilst our Facebook presence has been limited, we have most certainly not been hiding away. We are still trading and doing our best to look after everyones needs. If it is contactless delivery you are after, please dont hesitate to call and pay over the phone and we can deliver to your door around town, for free. Finding stock has been challenging and we are thankful for peoples patience, plants just simply cant be churned out in a factory and appear two weeks later. A lo...t of plants take years of planning to produce and its plain to see no one saw a one in 100 year pandemic coming ! Proteas, leucadendrons, waratahs and leucospermums are in high demand and supply is next to nil. Bearing in mind that there are only two major growers, in Victoria, it will be some time before there will be a good supply of these plants again. We have a great selection of bare rooted bush, and standard roses. There are still reasonable stocks of fruiting and ornamental bare rooted trees. Our business is still receiving fresh stock weekly and we are searching high and low to bring in what people are looking for. Seeds have finally recovered a little, after being hit hard at the beginning of the pandemic. The seedling growers are getting on top of things slowly and it looks like the supply for things like summer vegetables should be pretty good. Indoor plant supply is at a trickle and hopefully it starts to pick up as the weather warms. Unfortunately no guarantees on that one either. So I guess I felt it was a good opportunity to explain to people that we are doing the best with what we have. And just like the current situation we are all in, there are lots of things that are out of our control. Stay safe and well, continue to put one foot in front of the other and remember to be happy with the things we do have, and worry less about things we dont ! See more
