Fascia surrounds and encompasses the muscles, groups of muscles, organs, blood vessels, and nerves connecting some structures together while allowing others to easily slide over each other. The fascia is designed to give muscles their shape and the body its... structure. Fascia is intended to be elastic and freely move with the bones and muscles. Hygiene and infection control is part of our Remedial Massage training due to the nature of our work. Therefore it has always been part of our routine for each client. ... What we do in clinic: Fresh linen for every client. Linen washed externally at a commercial laundry at high temperatures in industrial washing machines that are sterilised in between each wash. Sanitising of treatment table. Thorough hand washing up to our elbows before and after each client. Treatment area sanitised. Waiting area - seats, desk, eftpos, bathrooms disinfected regularly. No more than 2 people in the waiting area at one time. Our team have all sat the Covid-19 infection control government online training. We ask every client in reminder emails and when they arrive have they travelled in the 14 days prior to treatment, do they have any cold/flu symptoms. If so treatment shall be rescheduled. Right now we are continuing to treat and care for our clients. It is a very stressful time we are all going through.
