13.01.2022 International Women’s Day 2021 ~ One of my core business values is to identify and preserve the place of Women in Australian history and to create an empowered community, that recognises and understands Australia’s diverse stories and embraces a more inclusive future. With the aim of educating, inspiring and creating awareness, I challenge myself to name select pieces after pioneering Australian women. I spend time researching and discovering unique traits within these incre...dible women and determine which piece would best honour them. It makes the process of updating my website a slower one, but it’s all worth it after I’ve uncovered the tale of a remarkable woman and share her story with you all. The Women’s Museum of Australia developed the ‘HerStory’ online archive in 2000, which which makes these stories easily accessible for all. Without this, it would be very difficult to find and share these stories. They’re a not-for-profit organisation and rely upon the generosity of the public to continue their invaluable work.
