24.01.2022 We have really been putting our dental xray to good use today! Nero was for a dental procedure as he was having pain around his mouth and going off his food. Unfortunately for Nero he is suffering from a condition called FORLs. FORLs are painful resoptive lesions that form on the teeth this is a very common condition with cats, although the teeth look clean ie. no tartar they can be very painful and need to be extracted! Nero is going to be left with just a few teeth remain...ing which will need to be monitored for further lesions going forward. Hopefully now Nero will be pain free and happier eating! Archie was keeping Nero company today. Archie is a chihuahua and was in for his desexing, he is a bit nervous but is being a very brave boy! Soon he will be at receiving lots of TLC! 24.01.2022 Occy from @pugrescuevic was in today having his specialist BOAS surgery preformed. Occy signed up for his new nose however he did not sign up for the cone aswel!! Keeping Occy company today was Lily the Miniature Schnauzer, Lily needed to have a toe amputated due to a nasty infection, fingers crossed she makes a speedy recovery! Finally is Benson the cavalier cross bichon frise who was in for a descale and polish of his teeth and had sealent applied to slow down the build up of plaque going forward! First in Kenji the pug from @pugrescuevic he was in for his specialist spinal surgery yesterday, thankfully all went to plan! Hopefully he recovers well, he still has a long way to go yet! Second is Pepsi who is receiving some pre-anaesthetic cuddles from Dr. Bianka before having a dental and lump removal! Third is Gracie who got herself into a bit of trouble last night after eating some... 'hothands' at home, she needed to come in to have it all brought back up again ... Hopefully she'll think twice before eating something she shouldn't in the future. Then is little Harley the Maltese cross who was in yesterday for his desexing and microchipping! Please read the information attached and check your vaccinations are up to date! Canine cough can be very mild for fully vaccinated dogs but can lead to secondary infections. For those unvaccinated, symptoms are often more severe and prolonged.
