24.01.2022 Knuckle Sandwich headquarters will be a little quiet over the next few months. We have a couple of beaut little caterings booked in for the rest of this year, but will be keeping things on the low down after that. As previously mentioned on the old socials, Dunc is helping with the kitchen at @thesurfsidebeaumaris on the beautiful east coast of Tassie, and Ev is about to head back to full time work after the reopening of the borders. We will both have a bit on over the next c...ouple of months, but rest assured, we will still be taking enquiries and bookings for next year! 23.01.2022 Something a little different for Knuckle Sandwich this last weekend. We have been consulting with the brand new owners of @thesurfsidebeaumaris on Tassie’s beautiful east coast. We’ve been helping to get the kitchen and new American-style burger menu up and running, and opening weekend went off with a bang! Dunc will be up here slinging burgers (and maybe a few Knuckle Sandwich inspired specials) a few days a week for a little while so if you’re a local or up that way to hit the mountain bike trails, fish, surf or hang out on the beach be sure to pop in, say hi and have a lovely beer and burger! 16.01.2022 Of course we have been keeping ourselves nice and busy cooking up sandwiches during isolation. Some as trials for future pop-ups and some just for the bloody hell of it! This one is an old school steak sanga we whipped up for some ripper friends and family to celebrate the easing of restrictions last week. Thinly sliced rump, bacon and whisky jam, horseradish cream, rocket and fresh tomato. Stay home and eat sandwiches YOU BEAUTY!! 16.01.2022 And that’s all folks!! @evomcc handing over the very last bag of #hobarthospolove tees to her old man @jimstantogram after a busy few weeks! Except for a couple of mainland and overseas orders, everyone should have received their merch now! Thanks to all of you for your generosity and patience! Here’s some numbers for ya!! over 500 T-shirts sold! 45 $100 vouchers purchased from local Hobart businesses $400 donated to the @collide_x_criterion initiative a few bucks... slung the way of @jordy_hooper who designed the T-shirt a couple of rude heads getting their mugs on the tele. This has been one fun, exciting and extremely fulfilling little adventure and truth be told, we are a little sad it’s all over. Thanks so much to everyone who helped us out after the onslaught of orders, from packing merch, delivering orders and grabbing us a beer from the fridge when we were snowed under and needed a cold one, to the artist(@jordy_hooper), T-shirt printers (@kingdommerch) and everyone who gave advice, shared our posts and of course, bought T-shirts. 15.01.2022 We’ve had a lot of people asking us when we are doing our next pop up. We have thought long and hard about our options and doing something ASAP, but it just wouldn’t be a real Knuckle Sandwich Party unless we had a stack of good people crammed into a venue, smashing some beers, eating some tucker and making a good old afternoon of it. We’re hoping it won’t be too much longer, but we promise when it happens, it’s gonna be one hell of a hootenanny!! Anyway, here’s a classic ol Philly Cheese Steak we whipped up at home this week.
