02.01.2022 Private Sellers: Bake these for your Next Open Home! I am always asked for this biscuit recipe. So here it is! To make chocolate biscuits, divide the Dough in half & Instead of the Fresh Ginger paste, you add half cup cocoa.... GINGER BISCUITS Butter 250 g Sugar 500 g raw Golden Syrup 3 Tablespoon Cream all above and Add: 3 eggs and cream some more 500 g self raising flour sifted 5 tsp powder ginger or Fresh Ginger Paste 1.5 heaped Tablespoon + about 200 g extra flour to dry mix to a firm consistency, as required. Roll into balls Bake 170 C 15 to 20 min For Choc Biscuits: Add sufficient Flour to create a stiff mix. Make round Balls & flatten with a Fork. Cool. Ice the Choc biscuits with icing as per recipe below: Chocolate Biscuit Glaze: INGREDIENTS 2 tablespoons cocoa 1 cup powdered sugar 2 tablespoons unsalted butter 2 tablespoons hot water 1/2 teaspoon vanilla or other PREPARATION Combine hot water, melted butter and vanilla extract in a small bowl. Whisk together cocoa powder, powdered sugart in a medium bowl. Slowly pour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients, whisking continuously until smooth. Sauce will thicken as it cools.
