Last year, STEM hardware company KodeKLIX received a grant which helped them develop their STEM education tools in time for the start of the 2018 school year. So far 19 schools from Geraldton to the South West have implemented his product in their classroom. More: https://www.mediastatements.wa.gov.au//Local-innovators-a-

12.01.2022 Our system resources were recognised in July by the WA Government’s take2stem campaign: https://www.take2stem.wa.gov.au/educators.html A big thank you to all the schools that have supported KodeKLIX. Kudos also to the folk at AISWA who developed the great 'STEM in Practice' curriculum materials and workshop series to support the KodeKLIX system.

07.01.2022 Meet Kodeklix, one of our Expo exhibitors! KodeKLIX is a STEM aligned digital technology teaching system developed by Australian engineering and education pro...fessionals (including a home educating dad). Kits and teaching materials have been tailored to address a host of curriculum and reporting requirements of the Australian national STEM curriculum in science, technology, engineering and maths subjects. Uniquely developed here in Australia, their products are used in primary and secondary schools and for home education. I got to have a demo with Nick from Kodeklix last year and was super-impressed. It looks a little like Clip Circuits but it's better quality and has much more scope, plus teaches coding as well as electronics. Kits come with teacher (or parent) and student workbooks as well as extension that have been developed by AISWA (Association of Independent Schools of WA) and that are tailored to the WA Curriculum. I love that all the curriculum links and planning is there for you - and this also makes Kodeklix different from most other electronics and coding kits. KodeKLIX is a fun, motivating and easy-to-use platform that allows children as young as eight and up to around Year 10 to learn programming and electronics without traditional barriers of complex computer syntax or risk of burnt fingers from soldering wires together. The system is unique as it combines both computer coding and electronics hardware to help students understand how things work in the real world. You'll be able to have a play with Kodeklix at the Expo. Get your tickets here: https://hbln.org.au//152-out-of-the-box-resource-expo-and-
