25.01.2022 H O L I D A Y // I love Sunday. I love Sunday even better when it's a public holiday tomorrow! Yay!!! . Tomorrow's public holiday is to celebrate the Queen's birthday which is actually in April for which the public holiday used to be in June until a few years ago when it was moved to October because apparently the June holiday was too close to a bunch of other public holidays (Easter, Anzac, Labour Day). All my upcoming events have understandably been cancelled or postponed. Workshops will resume when government restrictions are lifted. Orders are currently on hold until further notice. 10.01.2022 P R O P A G A T E // Do you propagate? It's easy (mostly). Promise. If I can do it so can you. Aside from some succulents I also propagate ivy. Devil's ivy is very easy. English ivy (shown) I find a little trickier and it can be a bit hit and miss. I've used this technique before and it worked. I've simply cut a length of ivy vine and submerged it in water. Refresh water weekly. Any jar or vase is suitable. It can take several weeks but eventually some of the nodes will grow ...little roots. Once you have roots, plant in a pot and you have a whole new plant! Give it a try . Note - this is a vase that I bought as a vase and is not an actual lightbulb.
