22.01.2022 IT’S OFFICIAL! I’m back wrapping! And I kicked off the festivities today with this huge re-wrap job on Michelle’s Hoya! 22.01.2022 I’ve spent some time IN THE GARDEN WE NOW OWN this arvo, admiring how ridiculously pretty it is. A little old lady named Melva lived here prior to us and she was the only owner of this house EVER! Crazy. 17.01.2022 My love for indoor plants has led to many things.. but the one thing I’m most grateful for is my desire to notice the little things that go on around me. Like the way the sun through my window catches the leaves on my Begonia this afternoon I look around me for these things now..I’m noticing... and it’s really nice to catch myself in the moment, appreciating the little things, the natural things. I live next door to Basic Bunch Flowers and just had a little knock on my door from little Savvy saying mum hopes you feel better soon! Bit emosh tonight... leaving your home for a new one, snotty nose and headache or not.. is a bit sad. I started my little business here in Sheidow Park.. raised our little monkeys.. watched them play in the street with the ne...ighbours.. had a couple of AHHMAZING open days here.. and went through a really tough time mentally at this address... and now we are packing up our twine and moving on. 09.01.2022 I have a lot to thank this little business of mine for.. not only has it provided me with a steady income for the last three years and created many opportunities to meet people and form new relationships but it also was the guiding light out of a really tough place mentally for me. Sure, it gave me something to sink my teeth (and brain) into, something to physically do with my time, something that made me proud of my accomplishments but it made me really understand the incred...ible value there is in creating a calm and comforting place at home.. and for me a HUGE part of that is credited to indoor plants. I’ve always liked where I live.. but it wasn’t until I really took pride in my four walls and nurtured my little green friends that adorn it that I really LOVED my home. The green, the light, the wood... I just can’t put into words how relaxed it all makes me feel. Tending to plants and styling my little abode brings me calm and pride and a deep feeling of inner peace.. as hippy as that sounds. #rolloutayogamat If you’re in a tough place.. or just don’t feel at ease in your life or your four walls.. try doing something creative with your space and put a plant or two in it. 06.01.2022 REMEMBER that HUGE Monstera of Kirrily’s that she wanted rewrapped? Well.. today was his day! I removed his old wrap, added some extra fresh soil to increase his ball size, surrounded him in new moss and of course new twine and also stabilised him with a larger and more sturdy bamboo stake. 05.01.2022 I’m just sitting having a wine and reflecting on my day.. it started a little glum.. mornings are usually tough going for me.. I lack enthusiasm.. motivation and the general zest for life and people that I’d like to have. But then I went to one of my favourite places on earth with my favourite people #family #bunnings and popped over to meet my back yard neighbour Roy who is.. 101 years old! What an absolute champion he is.. still getting around with a smile on his dial, ch...atting about the old days.. I feel truly blessed to have met him and plan on dropping in to see him regularly And then our new side neighbours invited us in for a cup of tea and a slice of carrot cake. #andwhatacakeitwas #neighbourcanbake And I have just rounded out my day with a visit from my mum and dad and my little brother and a couple of glasses of champagne Note to self Cass... every day tells it’s own story.. let it play out.
