05.01.2022 This mural was commissioned by a hotel for its foyer some years ago but it never made it. The artist died and the painting was put into storage. The wife found the painting and it was placed in a very public place near Shibyua station. The painting depicts the dropping of an atomic bomb in the ocean off japan many years ago. You can see white figures and fish skeletons once they are pointed out to you. It was placed here as a reminder for the many young people that walk by.
