03.01.2022 This year has not been without its challenges so we’ll done to those riders committed in their personal journey to develop their connection and partnership between their horse and themselves bringing the body and mind of both horse and rider together in harmony and grace. Developing trust from your horse as you learn to communicate with clarity, consistency and confidence as well as respecting his body and mind, riding in the moment and concentrating on the feel and feedback... from the horse . I have seen a truly special friendship growing. Learning the importance of ground work, developing awareness of your body language and putting in place a language of aids for the seperate responses for go ,stop ,turn,bend. Your in hand work learning how to mobilise the jaw, lateral neck flexions , neck extensions, Demi-arret. Looking closely at how our bodies function ( or not !) on the inside. Our intrinsic biomechanics with the understanding that our horses can feel which areas within us are working properly to absorb his movements and which are not .
