22.01.2022 SOMETIMES YOU JUST NEED TO LET GO AND BE FREE This is one of my favourite photo's from when we visited Europe. A Santorini Sunset is something I don't think I'll ever forget. It's so perfect it almost looks fake. Santorini was our last stop before we headed home and I remember aimlessly walking around the streets with no concept of time, having afternoon siestas and eating gyros and frappe's at any given opportunity. Hang chunky necklaces over doorknobs, stick brooches into bulletin boards, slip pendants over hooks, and store bangles and rings in recycled toolboxes and vintage tins.... Cleaning Dirty Costume Pieces Even dirty costume jewelry deserves a good cleaning otherwise it can tarnish quickly. Here's how: Line a plate with aluminum foil, shiny side up, and put jewelry in the dish. Mix a tablespoon of salt and a tablespoon of baking soda with a cup of warm water. Pour the mixture into the dishyou'll see a bubbling action as the jewelry cleans. Rinse with cool water then dry with a clean cloth.
