18.01.2022 On behalf of the KCRC Committee thank you to everyone who answered the call to help fight Saturdays Fire. It was truly amazing that it was brought under control In such horrendous conditions. Thank you to our fire control officers and marshals who managed the situation so calmly and effectively, to all of the Fesa crews, the Kondinin Shire and to those who delivered food and water. We will never know exactly how many people attended the fire, there were people from Kondinin, Karlgarin, Hyden, Kulin, Corrigin, Lake Grace, Wickepin, Narembeen, and surrounds. Events like these reminds us that community spirit is still strong in our Shire and is something we can be so proud of.

01.01.2022 With the external works around the Kondinin Commununity Recreation Centre the Kondinin Community Recreation Council and the Shire of Kondinin have almost comple...ted this project! The external concrete paving completed by Kondinin Building Services & Eastside Concrete Paving, the landscaping undertaken by Reality Landscapes, and the stone work completed by Hills Brick Laying & Will Wake. Main building designed by Rosalie Pech Eva Architect and constructed by A Corp Construction. The internal fit out to the kitchen and bar has also recently been completed by Narrogin Cabinetmakers. Funding for this project received from Department of Industry, Innovation and Science (Stronger Communities Program), Department of Sport and Recreation (CSRFF), the Wheatbelt Development Commission, the Kondinin Community Recreation Council and the Shire of Kondinin.
