16.01.2022 Every Tuesday morning Gemma is welcomed into our toddlers room for music and movement lessons . Our curriculum supports social emotional development, with expression and movement to music. It allows us to feel happy, calm and tranquil during this time

14.01.2022 Day 1 of lunch box week in Preschool: Well done to all our preschoolers making their own sandwiches, wrapping up their dried fruit and apple pieces, and packing their lunch boxes. . This will be occurring all week in preparation for big school. We coordinated this experience in two groups alternating the task to create an even flow throughout and a pleasant experience for these children. Our preschoolers thrive on independence and ownership, and we have supported them through the achievement of this task.

13.01.2022 Well done to the wonderful team in Junior Kindy . An early Christmas display, to showcase the children's interest, understanding and traditions surrounding this festive time. The room takes a strong approach to embedding tradition and culture from our children and families.

11.01.2022 This day of rememberence holds many a memory in all our families, with relatives who once fought, or knowing someone who is still fighting today, to protect our country, to protect all that we believe in, for Australia and Australians . My grandfather fought in WWII, he was my hero, and I have lovely childhood memories of him that I will hold close to my heart. We have a duty to teach/share/explain to our children the symbolism behind this day, those heros will always be remembered. Our children in all rooms, participated in a minute of silence, with room lights switched off standing proud and tall, and listening to the sounds of the trumpet playing the final song. #lestweforget2020

07.01.2022 In Preparation for NAIDOC Week 2020, Junior Kindy began their week making home-made Damper. Children listened to the teachers instructions on how to combine the dry ingredients and wet ingredients together, after demonstrating, some of the children confidently transferred their prior knowledge, and followed each of the steps set out for them. Teachers Maddy, Era and Serene with the children's help, delivered their damper to Chef Clare, who will bake it in the oven.
