As our 2021 Music Captain, Charlotte has always been a dedicated student and an active member of the Korowa community, a true all-rounder! 05.01.2022 Year 12 student Laura Dowd has made history at Korowa achieving three perfect study scores in English, Literature and History Revolutions. With an ATAR of 99.7, Laura has done incredibly well in what has been a difficult year for all. We congratulate Laura on an outstanding achievement and wish her every success and happiness for the future.
21.12.2021 Congratulations to Emma, Year 10, who has been selected as the Kwong Lee Dow Scholar for the Class of 2023. The University of Melbourne, Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars Program is an academic enrichment program designed to support students in Years 11 and 12. Emma will have the opportunity to experience university life, and participate in many activities and events to support her future studies and career aspirations. Well done, Emma!
04.12.2021 "We must tell the stories of women in a nation that doesn't perform well on gender equality. This is our true great battlefront" - Emily, Annabel, Alex and Emma, Year 8 Our Year 8s explored gender equality, gender roles and the stories of women in WW1 as part of their KXP this year. Through History, Art, Music and STEM students investigated Australian women in WW1, resulting in a fantastic student-produced website. 22.11.2021 A look back on 2021! Despite ups and downs, the Korowa community made the most of this year and had so much fun along the way. We wish our Korowa community a wonderful break, we hope you find time to rest, catch up with friends and family, and be together. We can't wait to see you all again in 2022!
12.11.2021 Today we celebrated our Year 6 students with their Graduation ceremony where they were presented with a gift from the School. They also enjoyed a fish and chip lunch before dancing at the disco. Year 6s have been fantastic leaders of Junior School this year and we can't wait to welcome them to Senior School next year!
25.10.2021 What a show it was! After months of online rehearsals, changing performance dates and just a few in-person rehearsals, the Junior School production of the Wizard of Oz was incredible. Well done to everyone involved and a big thank you to family and friends who came and watched on Friday!
13.10.2021 Trek Update! By all reports our Trekkers are having an absolute ball as they come to the end of their trips and begin reflecting on their journeys. They are enjoying spectacular views and are so proud of themselves, as they should be!
29.09.2021 Yesterday we welcomed our new Junior School students for 2022, including our Class of 2034! Our new Preps were welcomed to Korowa by Principal, Mrs Carmody, with their very own teddy bear before heading out to enjoy a bbq lunch with the Junior School.
27.09.2021 Rowing is back! Our rowers have been enjoying their return to the water, and our crews made a total of 6, A Finals on Saturday at their first regatta for the season, the RV Schoolgirls Regatta in Geelong. A fantastic start to the rowing season, well done to all our rowers!
