21.01.2022 Posting for those who may be interested in this....

20.01.2022 A massive shout-out to every parent who has made it to the end of Term 1! While many parents are looking forward to a break from accidental homeschooling, some ...arent so stoked that there is that magical combo of physical distancing (ie being stuck at home) during school holidays, waiting just around the corner. Navigating #thenewnormal is confusing and scary and really, really hard. Please know that there is always someone to reach out to. Help and support are always a phone call away. And, well, chocolate..... See more

20.01.2022 As always, full of interesting tidbits in the world of psych that I couldnt be bothered finding for myself. Thanks Jocelyn!

19.01.2022 The two-tiered model strikes again. There is no difference between a registered psychologist and a clinical psychologist except for the spelling. Psychologist friends - join the AAPi now to support a lobby group with our interests at heart.

16.01.2022 Will you take the pledge to #disruptyourfeed? This research from The Female Lead takes a dive into how we can build a more positive experience on social media. ... It's jam-packed full of many of the ideas I share in #DigitalNutrition. Full research paper here: https://www.thefemalelead.com/research See more

13.01.2022 Excellent recommendations by Disability Health. We firmly stand with you and believe the federal government should urgently develop a targeted response to COVID-19 for people with disability, their families & the disability sector. We must ensure our most vulnerable are protected.

13.01.2022 In partnership with Bradbury Preschool I’m creating weekly reminders of how educational iso can be. Spoiler alert - it has nothing to with learning to read or times tables @preschoolrocks @iso @backtoschool @resilience @copingskills

13.01.2022 Rather than re-inventing the wheel, I will post advice, facts and support regarding the management of life during the Covid-19 situation. But only if the message is pertinent and too important to not share. Heres one about how to self-regulate when it seems difficult to do so (The irony of posting something about C-19 that says stop actively reading stuff about C-19 is not lost here....).

13.01.2022 This is an important infographic that will help you decide Should I stay (home) or should I go (to that event)? (Apologies to The Clash). Also important for people to keep this in mind when deciding whether to cancel the professionals they have booked for workshops.

08.01.2022 In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Ive teamed up with Talk to Jocelyn Brewer to create a virtual psychological service enabling us to provide Telehealth s...essions Australia-wide. A temporary fee structure is in place until September 30 2020, which gives people requiring psychological support some choice in what they need and how to access it. Appointments can be made online at www.kppsych.com.au and currently there is little to no waitlist. See more

06.01.2022 Things may have been quiet on the socials, but in real life I have been flat-out! More (exciting) changes are happening for KP Psych, but Ill announce it another time. Not to create an aura if suspense, rather its a mixture of no time and not being bothered right now. Check back in a few days time to find out!

05.01.2022 I have been fortunate to do some work with Potentia Tutoring (now Dymocks Tutoring) to support student wellbeing during study. Here is a short blog I wrote with... some cool links I found along the way. Please feel free to share it with people who may need a bit of stress reduction around study time. See more
