25.01.2022 KPTech client loses their 1300 number with Optus for 5 days. 10 phone calls over 5 days, back and forth, technical dept, billing dept, technical dept and so on. It then magically starts working again. We then get a phone call from Optus today to provide us an explanation. Their explanation - they suspend 1300 numbers (randomly?) as a spam precaution/reduction/deterrent ? They didn't know how to "un disable it". It's enough for me to pull my hair out.. if I had any... Moral of the story, get KPTech to supply your phone system.

Most wholesalers will not supply at quoted prices last week even. The coronavirus has shut down many factories and demand is higher than what can be supplied.

05.01.2022 A little "vent" if I may... If you dont your IT provider, then there is a good chance they dont you either! Why stay? Get a 2nd opinion. Now. KPTech are constantly taking over the IT responsibility of businesses who didnt their IT provider and asked for a 2nd opinion. We uncovered billing for products that were not being supplied, additional licensing costs for services not being used and configuration errors that were costing these businesses $100s per month ex...tra! Imagine having unlimited use phone lines but the phone system was programmed to send outgoing calls on the line that is charged per minute. Why? The IT provider gets a higher commission? Yes! Not to mention the ABN number was cancelled 2 years ago but GST was added to the invoice.. Was that ..
