18.01.2022 I love Rugs with tassels!....But I really cant stand it when the fringing is not straight!! Im frequently finding myself on my knees straightening every strand......then asking every member of the family to kindly step over them!.....you can only imagine how well that went down with 2 teenagers and a tired Hubby! .....so I decided to try plaiting them....and voila IT WORKED!!! 17.01.2022 Before and After . My eldest daughter has wanted her room changed for so long and weve always been too busy to get it done! Due to the Vic Covid Lockdown weve finally had the time to do it! Weve never wallpapered before but decided to give it a crack as we couldnt get our trusted pro wallpaper installer Gary @thistlewallpapering to do it due to the restrictions . It took us ( when I say us it was mostly my Hubby! ) 1/2 the day to do and a few expletivesalong the wa...y!....going around her desk was a bit tricky as well! .....I think Ill stick to the styling and leave the wallpaper to Gary next time! . we didnt do too bad though ....dont you think? . 16.01.2022 Before and After . .....because you guys love a good Before and After, heres another one!.... . I was going through my archive of pics and found this before shot of our Pearcedale Kitchen Reno and wanted to share it with you. We did it a little while ago now but it truly was quite a big transformation. The white down the wall of the Before shot next to the fridge was where we took out a wall to open up the Kitchen and dining space giving it a more family friendly vibe. ... We chose to keep the plumbing and the layout fairly similar to keep the costs down. As it was a smaller space I used a light colour on the walls, tiles and bench top to open it up and make it feel larger. I also moved the fridge to the opposite wall with built in cabinetry for more storage and created an opening for the microwave. I still have a few more finishing touches to do but will do them as soon as Im aloud to go back there! . How are you all out there? 13.01.2022 CHALLENGE ACCEPTED . Ive always been a strong believer in Women supporting other Women, especially when I started my business. If it wasnt for my gorgeous girlfriends suggesting I start a business and most importantly encouraging me to start my business I probably wouldnt have had the guts to start it! I had so much self doubt that had developed in me from Primary school when one of my best friends at the time started bullying me and leaving me out for no apparent re...ason. Ive also lost girlfriends through my life for reasons beyond my control. It totally crushed me! I am fortunate to have amazing girlfriends now that I love so much, they give me so much more than they will ever know. If it wasnt for them and their ongoing support Kreate Interiors would never exist. This industry can be quite tuff sometimes so I really need my girls to lean on and get me through.....LIFE is tuff sometimes and I am soooo greatful to finally have true girlfriends! I also love to support other like minded women and I am inspired every day by these incredible humans! 07.01.2022 Happy Halloween! . What exactly does Halloween mean to you? Do you hate it? Do you love it? Or Do you not even care about it? ... For me, I love it, it’s my Birthday! strangely enough I don’t really like horror movies or Ghouls or ghosts and have never had a Halloween party and every Halloween I have gone ‘trick or treating’ with my girls and I’ve actually loved it! 06.01.2022 Look at this pic ....I bet you didnt look at the air vent first!?Distraction is Key!!....when Staging a home for sale! If there is something unsightly, distracting ( in a bad way ) or really just an eyesore!....always creat a pretty or bold distraction. At this home the return air is right at the front of the wall in the main living area, by adding these baskets and plants to the wall it creates a distraction and causes the eye to look up and away from the ugly vent! I give them as a gift and a thank you for using me for their projects and Stagings......I encourage them to have them out during their opens as it makes for a gorgeous welcoming scent for potential buyers. Here’s the Before and after of the opposite side of the Chiro room 5 ( massage room ) install......it was quite a small room and needed to fit a bit in it, including a laundry basket for the used towels, so I came up with the shelf above the laundry basket solution to save space while adding extra storage......I also included a nice big mirror so the patients can check themselves easily after their massage/treatment.
