22.01.2022 Part of the footings for the bricks. We got 2 x 4 metres of footings done today...it's a great start to the viewing walls. The enclosure will start to take shape much faster now this huge job is done.

22.01.2022 Got a bit more done and experimenting with rocks and layout now. I have to go into Dads and pick up my plants then it will really start to look cool.

20.01.2022 The bricks are done finally....after the rain and all the rest that life brings we only have the coping bricks to put on then we can start the insulation and lining. The glass and front will be last.

12.01.2022 Crystal and her baby, Coco came to live with us a couple of weeks ago and we just adore them

12.01.2022 This tiny little jellybean was born and fell whilst trying to make it to the pouch. Seen by a human it was put back onto mums fur....watch the video to see the end result...an amazing outcome

07.01.2022 Our EWD enclosure is part of the main reptile house but will not have a concrete base as it will have living plants and glass walls. I will share photos as we go along. The space is 4 x 4 metres with height being 3 metres.. It will include a pond and small waterfall. I hope you enjoy seeing it all come together.

02.01.2022 Rockfields had a couple of new residents arrive over the weekend. Meet Crystal and her baby Coco. In the next couple of weeks a little black alpaca named Charity will also arrive to live with the girls.

02.01.2022 Sadly since Christmas we've had 3 wombats hit by cars within a couple of km of our home. There has always been the odd wombat around but more have been moving North along the Campaspe when the water is low. So if you're driving in the Eppalock area between the kiosk and Axedale or Strathfieldsaye please keep your eyes peeled for wombats and other native animals. Hopefully the others in the district can continue their lives in peace and quiet without more losses
