13.01.2022 GROOM/YOUNG HORSE RIDER Hawkesbury Basin NSW AUSTRALIA START DATE: August 1st, 2021 Position available for a groom/young horse rider to work for a 2-goal player who specialises in re training thoroughbreds off the track.... The role is a combination of grooming and young horse work. Only apply if you have a passion for retraining thoroughbreds and a genuine interest in learning. Applicant must have the ability to ride young thoroughbreds straight from the track and assist in the re-education of tb’s for polo. This job offers the opportunity to play chukkas for the right jockey. Polo experience is desirable but other applicants with relevant riding experience will be considered. At times you will need to work independently so animal husbandry, health, fitness and basic veterinary knowledge is required. ANIMALS' WELL BEING AND WELFARE IS PRIORITY. Being well organised, attention to detail and cleanliness a paramount. Renumeration = $750 AUD per week after tax plus a work ute.
