22.01.2022 Meet Jess. She has worked on and off for us since 2004. She started off with us driving our Retail mini-tippers and worked up to driving a B-double. Life got in the way, she had 3 children but still works for us casually in between being a single Mum. We felt she deserved some form of recognition for long and loyal service. Anyone that knows Jess will understand exactly how our fun charicature portrays her 100%! (Daughter Naria did NOT want to be in the photo )

16.01.2022 We will resume the collection of drums at our landscape depot through the drumMUSTER program next week, on Mondays & Thursdays only, from 8:30 til 4:30. For 30+ drums, bookings are essential, 85622177. Eligible drums (with the DM logo) must be thoroughly rinsed, with lids removed.

15.01.2022 Our diesel has now dropped to $126.9c per litre. We have 24/7 access and the Autoserve is contactless payment with either a Caltex card or credit card.

15.01.2022 As from today, we will no longer be accepting cash payments. At this stage, we are still retailing from our office, but this may change as directed by the Government so that we can only carry out retail deliveries which will be contactless where our driver will not be required to interact with you when delivering product. DRUMMUSTER receival is suspended at present. If you are fuelling at our 24/7 autoserve, we do regularly sanitize the key paid but we suggest you use gloves when handling the fuel bowser hand-piece and also wash or sanitize your hands after touching the key pad. Keep safe everyone!

14.01.2022 TRUCK STOPS ARE NOW ALLOWED to open and serve Truck Drivers. SARTA has just been advised by the State Government that the National Cabinet has just decided to e...xempt Truck Stops from the ban on restaurants opening. The SOCIAL DISTANCING laws MUST be complied with. More details to follow as they are announced. SARTA applauds this decision by the National Cabinet. We have been working closely with the State Government and the Federal Assistant Minister for Road Safety and Freight, Scott Buchholz on this and many other issues affecting the trucking industry and drivers during the COVID19 crisis, along with our colleague State associations around the country and the ATA. 07.01.2022 We hosted the Historical Commercial Vehicle Club of Aust (SA Branch) for Sat afternoon of their "Maps Kapunda & Barossa Commercial Vehicle Tour"

06.01.2022 Kuchel contractors will remain in operation and will continue to take actions to keep our staff and customers safe. We are operating on a business as usual basis to ensure minimal or no disruption to supply chains and maintaining quality service to our customers. Our drivers have been advised of the current response to hand washing, sanitizing etc and have been also advised to cut off all contact with customers and others they may need to interact with in the course of their trips, including shaking hands.
