12.01.2022 Kumon Tusmore is now operating with reduced hours following the decision by the Burnside Council to halt services during regular business hours . As such we are OPEN ONLY FROM 515 PM to 630 PM Mondays and Thursdays. At Kumon, our first priority is the health and welfare of all students, staff and parents. If schools close to slow the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19, Kumon is ready to go to home-based study until schools reopen. This is to comply with health authority adv...ice and government regulations. Worksheets can be provided from the centre for the duration of the school closures, so your childs learning is not interrupted. Kumon is traditionally a home-based, pencil and paper programme. It is designed for students to study at home every day on their own. It is ideal for extended periods at home. For a short time, every day, no calculator, no keyboard, no screen, no high-speed internet connection necessary. Students take out their worksheets, pick up a pencil, read, think, write, and use an eraser to correct their errors. We are able to effectively manage communication with families through a variety of electronic means. Continued daily worksheet study at home will ensure that disruption to your childs progress and learning is minimised. Standard Completion is the time range in which a student should accurately complete their worksheet set before they move onto the next level. This is a key metric Kumon Instructors use to have more insight on your childs learning, even while your child studies at home.
