05.01.2022 I was honoured to attend the Kundrathur Kumaran Temple for the 10th anniversary & Water Cutting ceremony. I thank the Tamil community for inviting me to this ev...ent. A special thanks must go to Murali from the Tamil Education and cultural association for their great work and to President Manoharan & his team. As the Assistant Minister for Multicultural Affairs, I’m always amazed by the hospitality of our diverse communities. A great morning & ceremony! Sadly the temple has been targeted with threats and has been damaged which resulted in serious concerns for the priests living on site. This is why I was proud to secure funding on behalf of the Liberal Morrison Government to upgrade security fences & install CCTV under the safer communities funding process!
