25.01.2022 Just a word from Sensei Craig. Due to restrictions easing slowly on Covid 19 it is safe to say that in the not to distant future we will be able to train again soon. However, we will be practicing safe distancing with no contact classes. We miss training with all our students and hope to see you all soon. Yours in Bushido Kyoshi, Renshi and the Senseis! 24.01.2022 What a great night tonight at KJK. In the kids class our black belt Nathan took the class as part of the next step towards his next grading. He was helped by our very own brown belt Sempai Matt. They both did an outstanding job and even managed to give Ryan and Ava their first yellow stripes on their white belts. Congratulations to all, it was a wonderful night. Kyoshi, Renshi and Senseis!

Today I was looking through old videos of when I trained with the Abbe Budo School, and found the professor who was a second dan at the time doing the Yue Fei Bo and Jo forms, or 6ft and 4ft staff. Although they may have changed slightly since we were taught. I hope this helps you with your training. Can’t wait to see you all tonight.

Renshi Jordan and myself had the wonderful honor of finally being asked by Kyoshi to award one of our most dedicated and enthusiastic students with the his red tips on his black belt after close to 6 years of dedication to the martial disciplines. What this means is that he is now ready to work towards his full first dan black belt and the instructor rank of Sempai. Congratulations Angus once again, very well deserved. 06.01.2022 Today I was lucky enough to be asked to do a demonstration of weaponry, self defence and kata. I was asked many questions about the amazing art that I have been studying for a long time now. It was an absolute privilege and pleasure to show everyone my passion for the martial disciplines and to tell them about my Kyoshi and about the club that I belong to. 01.01.2022 Massive congratulations to Nathan who was promoted to Sempai tonight. Nathans commitment to KJK and assistance with both kids and adults class has been great. Well done Semapi Nathan! He also got probationary stripes for his first degree black belt as well. Was a great mix tonight of BJJ, weapons, self defence and sword.

If you have 2 stripes on your belt we will see you there. Renshi will be their to take the grading fees and to help with any questions.
