25.01.2022 We went to Monto show this weekend and had a good weekend Doug got 4th in the lead steer 350-500kgs and Clair won her class 18-21 months but was unsuccessful in the champion class.

24.01.2022 We had a good day at Baralaba show today there was a few showers Clair picked up at third in her class Then when we got home after being let go she went back in the gooseneck she must have had fun.

23.01.2022 Ive been doing some AI training this week at Berrigurra big thanks to Beef Breeding Services for the training and Emerald Ag for the cattle.

23.01.2022 Our sale bulls for 2020 are ready to go!!! 11 Bulls aged from 22-36 months, weighing between 500 - 850 kg. Semen and morphology tests completed. 5 in 1, three germ blood, three day and vibrio.... All bulls have been prepared on pasture only. 21.01.2022 We had a great day at Eidsvold show today. The day started with Tyler winning the stud and commercial junior judging, then teamed up with Elvis to get second in the junior paraders. He is now off to Gin Gin show for the sub chamber. Elton took out his class bull under 12 mths with Elvis getting third. Elton stood up for champion but was out done by 2 bulls from the older class for champion and reserve.

20.01.2022 Ferdinand will be in action on the show circuit again this year but I think he stable mate Ferguson will give him a run for his money. Itll be interesting to see who comes out on top.

20.01.2022 With the sun out today after 58mm i went and checked on Jopa Rita with her bull calf by Hamadra Enzo he is the first Enzo calf I the stud with more to come later in the year

18.01.2022 Very happy with our purchase from the DN sale today! We have been chasing this particular bloodline the last couple of years and were successful today in purchasing this exciting young bull!!! Very excited to see his calves in the coming years!!

17.01.2022 Our led steers unfortunately didnt have anywhere to go this year so we put them in the Monto Show carcass comp and were lucky enough to get first and second in the single steer class. Both steers are by Ambleside Gilligan. We are really pleased with the result and would like to thank everyone involved in running this event in a very tough time.

15.01.2022 We got some pics of our sale bulls for this year they are starting to look good

14.01.2022 The cows have been enjoying some extra grass in the lane way. Should boost the calves before weaning. Great to see so much grass.

13.01.2022 Yesterday was our first AI program using Billabong Armstrong, RSVP Kentucky,Glenlands Omen in 20 cows and heifers. We also have some Glenlands MNM to use in some more cows that havent calved yet. A big thanks to Adele Acton and Richard Acton for their help with the tricky ones. We cant wait to see the results.

12.01.2022 Cyril was asked by Monto SHS to be presented in the under 15 junior paraders, picking up a third place with Chloe Dent!!! Congratulations to Chloe!!!

11.01.2022 Cleo had her first show today at Biloela picking up second in her class 6mths and under 12mths.

10.01.2022 We headed off to Gin Gin show this weekend. Clair and her calf Ferdinand had a win in their class and then went on to win senior champion female but then run out of luck in the judging of supreme female of the show. Tyler also had a good day winning the stud junior judging on Saturday then had a red hot go at the sub chamber finals but was out done by very good young judges. Elton and Elvis came up against a very tough line up and were unsuccessful this weekend

09.01.2022 We spent the afternoon out and about looking at the cows today. Its great to see them with a spring in their step and doing well. Its amazing how fast the country has responded. Lets hope theres more rain coming soon.

09.01.2022 Went out today to have a look at renovation work we did before the rain. The seed is striking well and even the old grass is kicking on theres more rain on the way soon.

05.01.2022 We had a good weekend at Bilo show. Clair got second in her led class! She then partnered with Tyler Dederer for junior paraders. They make a great team but had no luck this weekend, up against some great competition! Doug also partnered with Candice Rideout in the junior paraders, for a well deserved 5th place!

03.01.2022 We started tailing out our stud weaners today. It wasnt very hard, Wajatryn Furnace has given them a great temperament. We had some of the replacement commercial heifers kept an eye on things through the fence.

03.01.2022 Got some pics this morning while the cows waited for a new patch of sorghum. Frank was busy helping but needed a cool down in the creek on the way home.
