24.01.2022 And we're back! Kulcha Moves, Sat 5 Dec @ Kura Yerlo's Port Adelaide hub. 12 McLaren Pde, Port Adelaide. 10:30am-1:30pm. Bring the famz along to connect with culture and community - smoking ceremony, a feed for all, cultural dance lessons and clapstick painting for the kids. Please bring a hat and bottle of water. Nukkan ya there!



19.01.2022 Tomorrow’s workshop with Robert Taylor will include yidaki for the boys, plus painting and cultural dance! So bring along the boys and the girls for a morning of cultural activities. Lunch included. 10am-12.30pm, 86-96 Trimmer Pde. Seaton. Nukkan ya there!

We're sorry for any inconvenience caused, but will be putting together activity packs for families, until supplies run out. 12.01.2022 Another very successful Kulcha Hub - this time we gathered at Ray Marten Park for the Tjilbruke dreaming story! It was a beautiful family day with some new faces as well! Thanks as always to Uncles Fred, Greg, and Alan, brother Alex and all the Kura Yerlo staff who worked, cooked, drove buses and cleaned up- we couldn’t do it without you Thanks also to our deadly new Kurruru Arts and Culture Manager Kath! 03.01.2022 Kura Yerlo Inc would like to welcome Kath Moore, our new Coordinator - Arts & Culture to the team. Kath is a Ngarrindjeri woman living in Adelaide with family from Raukkan, South Australia. She has has worked in Aboriginal arts, health, education and research for twenty years in NSW, QLD, NT and SA, traveling extensively to remote communities across Australia. Kath also works in primary schools teaching Indigenous perspectives through sharing her family history and dreaming s...tories. Kath is interested in introducing a visual arts aspect to our program and developing our grass roots youth programs. Kura Yerlo is very excited to welcome Kath to the Kurruru program - watch this space for Kath's over the coming weeks for an invite for community to meet Kath, and updates on our term and school holiday program. 27.11.2021 Unfortunately, due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation and to ensure we are doing our best to keep our community safe we have had to make the hard decision of cancelling ballet for the remainder of the term. We hope that all of our beautiful families have a deadly Christmas and we hope to see you when we run our School Holiday Programs (more info to be posted soon) in January 2022!
