17.01.2022 Yesterday I realised that so many people throughout my life have told me You can’t have both Well last night, at Chinese I ordered both! ... But in all seriousness.... My question is why the heck not? In society we are told to work hard- but not too hard. We are told to go travel the world- but not forever. We are told to go to uni and get a degree- but don’t stay there too long. We can’t have horses and money.... Well I call BS on these outdated beliefs. We are confined to a box. A neat little box with a ribbon, we are placed inside and told to stay there, and if we stay there we will make everyone else happy. We might not be happy, but it’ll please everyone else. Well a few years back, I decided I didn’t want to live inside the damn box and I wanted to obliterate the box. And now, I work with the change makers and the go getters. I mentor women who wanted more from life and aren’t afraid to stick it to the system and stand up and say I want MORE. So if you want MORE, then now is your chance!! Start the conversation!! 08.01.2022 Over and over I watch people dip a toe in. They get up the courage to look into something for themselves... They take a step toward an opportunity.... ... And then they realise they have just stepped out of their comfort zone and they back track a million miles an hour. And then a few months pass and they see what others have been able to achieve in that time and they are still where they were a few months back... So they start to wonder again. Maybe I can do that So the start to look again at something that is calling them forward. And then their minds go crazy. So they step back again. And after 12 months, they are in the same place, with nothing extra to show. They are still stuck on the edge of that cliff wondering what if And then they see others- the courageous, the ones that took control of their lives and made it happen. and they see what’s possible. So are you going to continue to wonder what could be possible? Or are you going to take the action step. Get out of your comfort zone and commit to making a change for the better. Don’t be left wondering what if.
