23.01.2022 If you’ve never tried natural dyes, you’re missing out! Not only can you get some truly fantastic colors, but you’ll skip using artificial dyes and coloring. Plus you might even have some of the ingredients around the house! All you need to do is simmer these foods (longer times equal deeper colors), add a little vinegar, and then soak the eggs. Check it out: Light Blue 1 cup blueberries Blue 2 cups red cabbage Yellow 2 tablespoons ground turmeric... Pink to 1 cup shredded beets Purple 1 cup red onion skins Orange 1 cup yellow onion skins Brown 1 cup of strong coffee Green 2 cups spinach The richness of the dye will depend on how long you simmer the ingredients. The longer the time, the deeper the color. You’ll also be able to affect the end result by how long you soak your eggs (anywhere from 20 minutes to overnight). Just make sure to add about 2 tsp of vinegar for every cup of colored liquid before you soak your eggs Do you dye eggs? We would love to see them, post a pic below

20.01.2022 My apologies everyone. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I had issues posting all weekend. The new update on my phone gave me a bug. Thank you Samsung. All fixed now. 17.01.2022 TASK: Carpet Refresher I do this weekly. Makes my house always fresh. Especially with our staffy who likes to stink the house regularly Bicarb really is a multi purpose life saver. Oh and so cheap. Again my favourite seems to be citrus based. Tangerine was used this weekend.

15.01.2022 TASKS: More I didn't get a chance to do this weekend. Not enough hours in a day. Must always include family time. **Window Cleaner - I will take a photo of how good the glass comes up when I do it. Amazing results. **Wardrobe Refresh - A mason jar with holes in top also works. Lavender is my go to in wardrobes. ... ** Toilet Fizzy Bombs - I havent made these in so long and really need/want to start again. Really fast and easy to make. Kmart have great cheap ice cube trays that are perfect size and price.

13.01.2022 TASK: Mattress refresh. Clean sheets, pillow cases and anything you use on your bed. Put pillows and dounas on line and out in sun to air. ... Spray all with a diy linen spray. Remake bed and have a relaxing rest tonight when you close your eyes.

13.01.2022 Task one. Fridge. Not much in our fridge as we're about to go away. Also these days we eat Youfoodz and Muscle Chef premade meals for lunches and dinners (in freezer) 5 days a week so no need to do too much grocery shopping. Since we leave Friday no weekend ingredients for meals needed. Bring on Easter.

13.01.2022 Tasks: Kitchen. **Diy Kitchen spray - A must try. Smells fantastic and the On Guard kills germs. **Sink Scrub - The magic of Bicarb once again paired along with do Terras OnGuard cleaner.... **Oven Scrub - (Small confession. I never got around to this on weekend). The products used are also the same again. I will add though, that if your oven has tought grime it may need more then this.

07.01.2022 TASK: Pantry Refresh If you're anything like me the pantry can get crazy messy and disorganised. We're all human. It's ok. Once in awhile I like to take everything out and wipe clean and sort everything. I tend to mostly either use peppermint or citrus. ... Citronella is great if you tend to have bugs getting in your pantry. A great prevention. I find it a strong smell so If I was to use it I would use in a mix of vinegar and water in a spray bottle.
