Whether community members are young or old, there are clubs, organizations and initiatives to support every person’s needs. One of the most significant effects of COVID-19 has been the isolation of individuals. Whilst many young people and families are able to connect with each other via the internet, this has been a challenge for some in the older age bracket. Follow the link below to know how you can be a digital mentor for older people in Kyneton.

21.01.2022 Fencing and revegetation works have been taking place along the Campaspe River to bring back the ideal environmental conditions in the area for local birds, fish and mammals. Conservation Volunteers Australia and about 20 volunteers have been working for 12 months on planting young trees, mature trees, mulching, watering and maintaining the area to revegetate the site. This is just the beginning of what will become a luscious green area for wildlife to gather, and for the people of Kyneton to enjoy.
