24.01.2022 #2 LEGEND Nous voici dans la deuxieme demi finale du WORLD OPEN 2007 opposant le combattant Tchèque , Champion du All Japan par catégorie 2004 Jan Soukup face a...u combattant Arménien Artur Hovhannisyan Vice-Champion du All Japan Open en 2006 . Les deux hommes se sont déjà affronté pour la finale de l’Europe en 2005 , et c'est Artur Hovannisyan qui avait remporté ce combat . L'enjeu de ce combat est immense , le vainqueur du combat s'offrira une place pour la finale face à Ewerton Teixeira . Sur son parcours Artur Hovannisyan a gagné quasi tout ses combats par Ippons notament un chudan mawashi memorable en quart face au redoutable Andrei Stepin . Jan Sokoup quant à lui gagne son combat de quart de final face à la deuxième tête de série brésilienne Eduardo Tanaka . The Toowoomba kyokushin dojo now has 6x x 3rd kyu grades, 3 ladies and 3 gents , all whom have trained with me since their first training day ( a few were slightly higher ) a great day for us . 11.01.2022 Le dernier World Open à eu lieu l'année dernière en Novembre 2019 ,c'etait le premier World Open avec les nouvelles règles ( poussé , balayage qui compte wazari... si suivi par un marquage , la casse qui departage avant le poids , etc ) le retour du Japon en finale depuis Hitoshi Kiyama en 2003 . Mikio Ueda , Champion du All Japan Open 2018 crée la surprise en 2013 à seulement 18 ans il bat par Ippon le double champion du monde moyen Zenjyuro Mori . Après sa place de Top 8 en 2015 au World Open il prend un net avantage lors du passage dans les nouvelles règles avec Yuta Takahashi , Shohei Kamada et Shoki Arata il fait partie des " 4 fantastiques " on les retrouve dans les carrés de chaques finales/demi finale du All Japan Open depuis 2016 . Alexander Eremenko , invaincu en Europe depuis 2011 ,Vice champion du monde poids superlourds en 2017 , 6 fois champion d'Europe ( Lourds , superlourds et Open ) et double champion du All American Open se fait remarquer par son style fluide et sa redoutable puissance en poing et jambes . 11.01.2022 #3 LEGEND Le Championnat du monde par Catégories est le deuxième tournoi qui permet d’accéder au titre suprême de champion du monde Kyokushin , il est prestigie...ux de par sa rareté , tout les 4 ans ,de son niveau et du nombre de ses catégories qui est seulement de 4 , à savoir -70kg Legers -80kg Moyens -90kg Lourds et +90Kg Superlourds . En Finale superlourds de 2005 on voit l'opposition de deux géants de plus de 100kg : Lechi Kurbanov , Champion d'Europe en 2001 et Champion du All Japan Catégories Superlourd en 2002 . Redouté pour la puissance de ses coups et son agilité mais surtout son coup spécial le tobi ushiro mawashi geri ( coup de pied sauté retourné ) qu'il maîtrise à la perfection . Face à lui , Ewerton Teixeira qui s'est fait remarquer au All American Open ou il tient le titre de 2001 à 2004 mais aussi en arrivant 3eme au World Open 2003 à seulement 19 ans ! Les deux combattants se sont hissés en finale principalement par KO et ils sont venu à bout des meilleurs combattants de cette periode , Aleksander Pichkunov , Andrey Stepin , Artur Hovanisyan et Mikhail Kozlov ... Je vous laisse voir ce combat de titans avec deux styles différent qui s'oppose ! PS: Il se sont déjà affronté pour la finale du All American Open 2002

10.01.2022 Osu World Tournament results so far: Rob Struthers drew a particularly tough opponent from Japan and while he started well, he took a lightning fast gedan mawas...hi just above the knee ending in an ippon. Tyran Whyte fought well against a strong Russian, went the distance, but lost by decision. Bernie Johnson, similarly also went the distance but lost by decision to a Japanese opponent. Tom Wilson started very strong, but was out-punched (which is saying something if you've ever been punched by Tom). His Russian opponent has made the Top 32. Shingo Tamura's Romanian opponent won by decision, although certainly not the decision of the crowd! Josh Struthers lost by split decision. He came out firing and never stopped. The fight was definitely worthy of an extension, but did not receive one. Special mentions: Thelvin Cabezas went extremely close to knocking Navarro over and was quite visibly the better fighter for much of the contest. Extremely impressed by Thelvin's fight - looked composed and comfortable - where Navarro looked uncomfortable and was caught short by Thelvin's pace. Lucas Joe Reihana Mckinnon beat his first opponent who was a lighter Russian, which went to an extension. Lucas was far more comfortable with his second opponent (Polish). He fought a strategically paced fight which saw him really wind up in the second half to win by unanimous decision. He has made Top 32 and will fight again tomorrow. Ganbatte, good luck!!! 06.01.2022 Flashback Friday. Sometimes, things don't go to plan. There are always disappointments, mistakes, challenges, ups and downs. Most people only see the times you... do well...not the times when it's hard. And it's often more hard than easy. More losses than wins. More aches and pains than feeling in top shape. More defeat than victory. Experience is a hard teacher. It gives you the test first, and the lesson after. It's ok to lose, just never lose the lesson. Apply the lessons daily, when the sun isn't shining, the birds are not singing, when it's it's dark and cold and windy and raining and every muscle is aching.... Because THAT is when you get results. The greatest rewards in life are found OUTSIDE your comfort zone, where it's hard and stressful, and risky and full of anxiety and pressure. Mr King was always there for me. He said to me after this race in Barcelona... " honey, if this is the worst thing that happens to you in life, then life is pretty good".... always putting everything into perspective. If you train,or if you are working your butt off and things are not going the way you want them to be... sit back, analyse, look, learn, watch others, ask Q's, watch videos, seek out better competition, seek out people who inspire you and spend time with them, eat better, look after yourself more, find the happiness and joy in what you are doing, be grateful to have the opportunity.... and apply what you learn to everything you do. Winning is great but TRYING to win, is what makes you a better all round person. It's not what you GET from what you do...it's who you BECOME from what you do. We live in a great country and have amazing opportunities. Go get em!! Please share. Lisa x :)

01.01.2022 Deuxième série de vidéos ! Nous allons voir les finales de championnat du monde Open . Intéressant de voir comment le style a évolué chaque époque en fonction d...e ses combattants et de la façon de s'entrainer . Pour situer le contexte le premier tournoi ( 1st All Japan Open ) dans les règles Kyokushin à été organisé en 1969 , dans les règles que l'ont connait , pas de protections , frappes réel Corps/Visage mais interdiction de frapper au visage avec les poings et les coudes . En 1975, du 1er au 3 novembre est organisé le 1er World open à la place du All Japan, à la différence de celui-ci, les étrangers peuvent participer, et l'événement aura lieu tous les 4 ans à la place du All Japan . 128 Combattants de 32 pays différents se sont affronté sur ce tournoi à élimination directe . En finale deux élèves de Maitre Oyama , le Champion du All Japan Open 1973 Hatsuo Royama et le Champion du All Japan Open de 1971 et 1974 , Katsuaki Sato .
