19.01.2022 Lawns all mowned ready for Junior Training tomorrow night (Tuesday ) 5-6pm. Hot Shot starting Thursday 4-4.45pm and Senior Training also Thursday night 6-7pm.

18.01.2022 We hope to be able to confirm start dates for Junior & Senior Training and Hot Shots this coming week or at the latest the second week of term 4. With current restriction we will have to limit groups to 10. We can have multiple groups of 10 on different courts with no cross over. This will be particular hard with the younger kids for Hot Shots as we need parent involvement. We are just trying to work through logistics or even better if restrictions ease or numbers in groups increase that will make things much easier. Keep posted on our Facebook page for all dates/details to be confirmed.

17.01.2022 Sincerely thank you to Paul Wakenshaw, John Forde and Riley Wakenshaw for volunteering their time working on the edging for our new synthetic courts.

15.01.2022 Exciting times for Kyvalley Tennis Club - the upgrade of our last 2 courts to synthetic grass has commenced. We will soon have a 6 court synthetic grass facility.

14.01.2022 Kyvalley Tennis Club are committed to safeguarding participants and volunteers when making decisions that could impact their health and wellbeing. We are wanting to act both responsibly and proactively in the best interest of the community, particularly those who are most vulnerable. Therefore we are cancelling our last Hot Shots Session scheduled for tomorrow night (Thursday 19/3) and our last 2 Open Court Sessions (Friday 20/3 and 27/3). We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding during this unprecedented time.

13.01.2022 ***Hot Shots Postponed start date - 22nd October** Given the the current situation in Shepparton with 3 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours and many people having to self isolate for 14 days and get tested, and the uncertainty of how far this may extend we have decided to postpone the start of Hot Shots until next Thursday, 22nd October, 4pm. We appreciate your understanding and will keep in touch with everyone to confirm that we can start next week. Cross our finger this cluster in Shepparton is contained.

12.01.2022 UPDATE: Regrettably Kyvalley Tennis Club will have to decline the offer to run the BBQ on Sunday 15th November. Unfortunately due to the sort notice I have not been able to find enough volunteers to provide the required 5 people for the duration required. ORIGINAL POST: Bunnings rang today to let me know that their BBQ's are back on and we all ready had a booking for Sunday 15th November (2 Saturday's away). Sorry for the very short notice, when I collected some free stuf...f from Bunning only last week that expected that Echuca wouldn't actually be having BBQ's due to the limited place and COVID requirements. It will be a great fundraising opportunity as they have a special promotional day and are open until 9pm. They are expecting big crowds. The only catch is we have to provide 5 people (I assume for the whole duration of the BBQ) for the extended time from 8am-6pm. Who would be available to help on the day? Obviously the more people that volunteer the shorter the shifts will be able to be. See more

10.01.2022 With a successful grant application from the Community Bank Tongala its a Game, Set and Match win to the Kyvalley Tennis Club for their courts upgrade project ... Its great to see the community rally to a cause and thats just what happened when Kyvalley Tennis Club looked like folding several years ago. It was the community and a dedicated group of members that got it back on its feet. But to play tennis of course you need usable tennis courts! This is where the Community Bank Tongala has been able to help with a substantial grant to upgrade the synthetic surface of the last two courts in need of repair to bring them up to competition standard. Work is due to commence this week, the fence is down signalling the game is about to begin. We wish the Kyvalley Tennis Club well with the upgrade to see in the new tennis season later this year, covid-19 restrictions permitting... See more

07.01.2022 Pending Government Restrictions and advise from Tennis Victoria we are hoping Tuesday afternoon midweek tennis can start again after the school holidays in Term 4. We are looking for some more players to fill a section 1 and 2 side. Please get on touch with Melissa Williams (0412 822 029) if you are interested in playing.

06.01.2022 We are taking names now for the upcoming season and will be back in contact with you when we are able to start training. This will be totally dependent on Goverment Restriction and recommendations from Tennis Victoris. Pending Government restrictions our tennis association has proposed delaying starting the competition until 31st October. For those that are not aware our courts are currently open for social hitting. 4 people from the same household are allowed to hit and you can play singles with someone outside you family. There is a QR code on the gate to log in.
