16.01.2022 Food for thought.

15.01.2022 Listen to your body

10.01.2022 Here is another attempt to render the human skeleton in 3D doing human actions. Build all the muscles and soft tissue in your imagination and you will see how unnatural this rendition is. The spine is very immobile. The hip joints are not under the centre of gravity. There is a big bend (kyphosis) in the upper spine and the head is pushed forward. Some people manage to carry themselves like this. The price is wear and tear on their joints and loss of mobility. The healthy per...son with unlimited mobility has a more erect neck, a smaller upper spine kyphosis, a much larger curve in their lower spine, with the result that their pelvis is tilted further forward with the hip joints directly under the sacrum, the body's natural centre of gravity. It is a good attempt. We need to see more of this type of animation. I hope Hashem Al-Ghaili is able to fill out the rest of the body next time, and demonstate how the body really stands and moves and runs in space. See more

09.01.2022 The different parts of us are all connected. We can't get away with partitioning some parts off. Something always gives in the end.

02.01.2022 Some thoughts from Russell Brand on managing ourselves when we get triggered by something or someone external to us.

02.01.2022 This video provides some excellent information about the relationship between hormones and breast cancer, particularly during menopausal transition, when fear of breast cancer often clouds our decisions about taking action to reduce the symptoms of perimenopause. I neither endorse or disendorse his recommendations. I am not a doctor. But every woman needs to understand about sex hormones and how they affect our bodies. For women in menopausal transition, a fingertip sized do...b of raw, unprocessed honey high in the vagina will reduce vaginal discomfort by feeding the lactobacilli which are the healthy inhabitants of the vagina. This is because the glycogen in honey is absorbed by the epiththelial / surface cells of the vagina. This attracts the lactobacilli in the vaginal environment and they feed on the glylcogen from the sloughed epithelial cells, and reproduce, making a slippery biofilm on the vaginal walls, so they can slip over each other more easily, leading to a more comfortable vagina. https://www.facebook.com/watch/ See more

02.01.2022 Australia has the same media. I love the idea of putting a question mark at the c c end of every headline. I will bee doing this from now on.
