21.01.2022 We have had a very busy day today, we are completing an order for one of our wholesale customers. The big pile of boots have been made over the last few weeks. (I wish i could show just how big that pile is... it goes a loooong way back). We then apply glue to both the bottom of the ugg boot and the top of the rubber sole. After the glue has 'touch dried' we heat it using a heat gun and then very carefully align the boot onto the rubber sole. This is a 'one shot' procedure.... If you misaligned the ugg boot on the rubber sole, very rarely can it be removed and re-attempted. A good quality glue, prepared in the right manner will have an immediate 'stick', which will cause damage to the sole and the boot if removal is attempted. Once this is done each boot is individually placed under a hydraulic press which squashes it under extreme pressure. Making sure the rubber sole is adhered to the boot as firmly as possible. Then the boot is placed in a clear plastic bag and heat sealed, once the size sticker is attached the boots are ready for packaging and shipment.

12.01.2022 Washing your new sheepskin footwear Hand Wash your new sheepskin footwear in Luke warm water with a good quality wool wash, rinse thoroughly with clean water and then place in the shade to dry. Please make sure to hand wash sheepskin, as the agitators in washing machines can be too violent for them. Hanging sheepskin footwear upside down will help excess water drain away and expedite the drying process. In cooler weather drying may take a couple of days, but it is much better... to allow drying to take place slowly. It is important NOT to put your sheepskin in the sun to dry or expose them to heat such as fires, dryers or heaters. Sunlight and excess heat dries the sheepskin too quickly and can leave it irreparably hard and damaged. Please do not wash them in bleach products or with harsh chemicals or detergents. 03.01.2022 Last week we made these cute little velcro booties. They are available in small, med, large and XL (They will fit from approximately a 4 month old to a small 2 year old). If you prefer them with a rubber sole instead of the soft sole version shown here, let us know and we can make them for you! They are full Aussie sheepskin covered in a well wearing white leather.
