24.01.2022 World Mental Health Day Hi, I’m Jess. I have an amazing family, a beautiful home and mental illness I am diagnosed with depression, generalised anxiety and a dissociative disorder. It makes a lot of life really hard. Some days are ok and a lot of days are horrid, but mostly I keep my mask up.... I share because it effects so many people but many think they suffer alone. I share so that people in my life, be they friends or acquaintances, know that I give hugs and understanding freely. Things that help me: Medication. Everyday My family. My husband and kids keep me laughing daily. Accepting I cant do too much stuff. I need quiet and rest. My friends. I can’t keep up with an active social life. But I try and keep my few good friendships. My DOGS. Honestly, they save me on a daily. 13.01.2022 So it was a trip to the vet yesterday with Soda to try and retrieve what I assumed was a grass seed in her ear (damn nasty things) Thankyou to Swan Valley Vet Centre for sorting us out. Also a big thanks to Pet Fresh for giving me a roll of toilet paper to clean up the lovely poo Soda did on my car seat when I stopped to get her a treat. A mistake I will not make again after a procedure. My poor girl is back to normal today. PS. 06.01.2022 Soda and I at @swanvalleyvetcentre this morning for progesterone tests. We take these test when the girls are in season to determine when they ovulate and when the correct time is for breeding. The wait for the next five weeks until we can do an ultrasound, will be long!!!! #sodalabracadabra
